His areas of specialisation include Structural Engineering, Prefabrication Technology, Hospital Infrastructure Project Management. He also serves as member in BuildSG Tripartite Committee, BCA IDD Steering Committee, Advisory Board of Studies, Singapore Polytechnic.

His previous professional appointments in engineering include EVP, Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd; CEO, Excel Precast Pte Ltd; Senior Manager, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation; and, Structural Engineer, HDB.
