PPVC MANUFACTURER ACCREDITATION SCHEME

BACKGROUND

The PPVC (Prefabricated Pre-finished Volumetric Construction) Manufacturer Accreditation Scheme (MAS) was launched on 29 March 2016.

The scheme was developed jointly by SCI and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). This scheme is administered by SCI. The PPVC MAS is a requirement for selected non-landed residential sites sold under the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

The scheme aims to provide recognition to PPVC manufacturers who have the manufacturing capabilities and committed to maintain the good quality standards in the PPVC modules production. The accreditation assessment emphasises on capabilities, processes and specific quality criteria for PPVC.

ACCREDITATION CRITERIA
The accreditation is based on the following criteria:

• Quality Management System
• Plant and Design Capabilities
• Human Resource Requirements
• Quality Control In Production
• Storage and Delivery
• Installation and Maintenance

BENEFITS OF ACCREDITATION
Benefits of the accreditation include:

• Recognised as quality PPVC suppliers
• Fulfilled the requirement for selected non-landed residential sites sold under the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme
