The 45th AGM of the Singapore Concrete Institute was held on 26 April 2024 with a good turn out from both ordinary members as well as group members. Concrete AI, a NUS spin-off start-up, gave a technical talk on In-situ Concrete Strength Monitoring and ended with a lively Q&A session. Another successful year for SCI!
SCI organized a seminar on the topic “Towards Greener and Smarter Construction”. The seminar was held at NUSS Guild House on the 26th August 2022 with participation of over 40 pax. Photographs taken during the event is shown in the Photo Gallery.
Dr Rupert. J. Myers, from Imperial College London, spoke on the topic “Relevance of the Circular Economy in Decarbonising Construction”. The seminar is hosted via a hybrid online-cum-F@F platform” with an online participation of over 30 pax and a physical attendance of over 50 pax.
